10 more minutes please????

I had a really rough morning. I could not get up. I was so tired and even though I went to bed arly, I still was beat when the alarm went off at 5. I tripped myself down the stairs to get my cell phone and text Brandy. I'm not coming in until 9.

I barely made it back up to crawl back into bed and shove Dan over as he had already taken over my side of the mattress. When his alarm went off, he asked if I called off. Nope, just going in late. He reset the alarm and we snuggle back into the bed.

Fnally at about 7:20, he got up and got ready for work. I begged for 10 more minutes on the clock and he reset it for me. How sweet.

At 7:30 I got up and took my shower. I still had to stop at the store to get tortillas for the Cinco de Mayo potluck. So I hurried as quickly as I could and got out the door by 8:05. YAY me!

I stopped at Smith's on the way and had to walk through the bakery to get to the tortillas. Bad move for me, great move for Smith's. I ended up buying like $15.00 in baked goods. I was so hungry. I also cheated and bought a Diet Mountain Dew. I know I'm supposed to stay away from the caffine, but golly gee wiz Bob, I was still yawing.....

I got to work and unloaded the baked goodies. YUMMY!! I did take my insulin, but I don't know if it actually helped. *sigh*

Work was very slow. I did help out a couple of my co-workers, but for the most part I just waited for phone calls and did a little work on a project.

About an hour before it was time to go, I was sitting at my desk, listening to my co-workers talking and just sort of spacing out, when my phone rang. I'm still not used to it ringing like a normal phone. *between you and me I really miss the zip tone in my ear*.

I reached over and pushed the button to answer it, and even said: "Thank you for calling _____. This is Denise how may I help you?" but there was no answer. I reached up to adjust my headset, thinking my mic was up, when I realized that I didn't even have it on. LMAO!

I had to grab it off my desk quickly, and slip it on. My co-workers could not stop laughing, and I'm pretty sure my client heard me the first time and was wondering what happened. I guess I'm just going to have to sit there with my headset on all day.

It was finally time to go and I decided to make a stop at the Evil Empire *Wal-Mart*. About 6 months ago I found some very comfortable bras, and I wanted to get more. I have been to 3 different E.E.'s and only found them at one. The one I did find them at, only had 1 bra in my size. Pleanty in the other sizes, but only 1 in mine. The E.E. I went to tonight didn't have them either.

I'm begining to think that Dan's curse has rubbed off on me. Everytime he finds something he likes, (IE: Chips, brand of salsa, type of A1 sauce, particular dish at a resturant), it is limited edition or just isn't made anymore. So I think that because I LOVE these bras, I'm never going to find them again. GRRRRRR!!!!

I did pick up a couple of others, but they aren't like my fav. *shakes head sadly*

I also could not find the Topsy Turvey at that E.E. I've seen them at the others and just haven't bought one yet, but I'm getting Tomato plants from Meredith tomorrow and I wanted to plant them when I get home. I hope I can get them to grow and produce. Dan and I LOVE tomatoes and Iam excited to see how they grow. I did find a cute kit that grows Strawberries. It comes with a pot, plants, and soil. And so far pretty good instructions for growing. It was only $4.50 and I'm ever so hopeful.

Wish me luck that my black thumb will grow read berries and tomatoes.
