Water aerobics was tough tonight. I swear the water was more dense. It felt like I was working out in Jello. My legs are sore and my arms ache. It was a great work out, but whew, I was glad it was done.
One of the funny things that Stef and I see every time we go, is the sign in the just outside the womens locker room. It's freaking funny and we finally took the time today to get a picture of it.
I am just childish enough to giggle every time I read it.
No food or drink allowed in the Poo area. I can't tell if the L was left off on purpose, or if some punk scraped it off. But it cracks me up every time I see it.
The locker room was so warm when we changed clothes tonight, but I swear they shut the heat off the minute we get out of the pool. I love the showers as they are hot water, but it's hard to enjoy with so many people there. The good thing is that there is shower stalls and they have curtians. I finally got brave a couple weeks ago, and took my suit off in the shower. I then wrap my big beach towel around me and then move on to the locker area. I have found it's easier to wring the water out of my suit.
There are only two toilet stalls, so I have perfected the dressing w/out anyone seeing me in the locker area, rather than wait for a stall to open. Stef is still shy, which is ok. But she does have to wait longer to get dressed. lol. Tonight one of the other ladies told her that everyone is so worried about covering up while dressing, that they aren't looking at anyone else. It was funny because Stef told the lady that it was hard enough for her to stand naked in a towel waiting for a toilet stall, and she wasn't going to have to work on getting braver before dressing infront of others.
When I got home, my sweet husband had dinner ready to go. I don't know why but being in water seems to increase the need for food. I can eat something before aerobics and still be STARVING when we get out. The Steak was very tasty, but Dan is still working on his steakhouse perfection..... lol.
I just realized that I forgot to go to the store tonight. I am supposed to bring tortillas for our Cinco de Mayo pot luck at work tomorrow. I guess I'll be making a store run in the morning. I don't think I could make it now. It's still daylight outside, but my yawns are so hard my eyes are watering and I can hardly see to type. (It also doesn't help that I have a big fluffy orange cat standing infront of the computer screen).
I was thinking it is strange to be going to bed before it get's dark, but at this point I'm not going to have a problem with it. *yawn* good night......

I'm so proud of you for exercising! Keep it up, it's so good for you! I'm always hungry after I work out.
